hela Sverige Kidbrooke develops technology that enables banks, insurance companies, and pension providers to build and offer financial products digitally. We build software at the intersection of mathematics, finance, and engineering, powering customer-facing solutions across multiple markets.
You'll work across a broad range of technical and analytical problems, and closely with both the technology and how it's used in practice. As part of a small team with extensive international experience from leading financial institutions, you'll grow quickly as a developer.
About the role At Kidbrooke, you'll join a small team and take on real responsibility from day one. You'll partner closely with senior developers and work end-to-end - from idea to production - while building a deep understanding of both the product and its real-world use.
You thrive in an environment where you're an active member of the team - sharing ideas, taking initiative, and contributing to the team's work. The role also involves working directly with end users to understand the needs behind what we build. We expect you to take ownership of your work, while also recognising that you're early in your career. You'll receive support along the way and have room to grow as you become more independent.
On the technical side, you'll work primarily in .NET and C#, with elements of Python. Everything we do is cloud-based, and AI tools are a natural part of our development work.
We're looking for someone who... ...is at the beginning of their career and wants to develop in a role that combines technology with an understanding of how business-critical systems in financial institutions work, and how business and technology are connected in practice. You're driven by a desire to learn, both through writing code and by digging into problems and finding solutions. You likely:
Hold a university degree in Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Applied Mathematics (graduating in 2025 or 2026)
Have a genuine interest in programming and have built your own projects, tested ideas, or coded outside of your studies
Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written; any level of Swedish is a plus but not a requirement
About Kidbrooke Kidbrooke is a fintech company that develops a platform for building and distributing financial products digitally. We operate in an industry shaped by regulation, complex workflows, and high demands for precision, placing equally high demands on both the technology and its design. With a focus on flexibility, innovation, and technical excellence, we build solutions that can be adapted quickly and deployed across different markets.
The company was founded in 2011 and has been fully focused on software since 2019. Today, we're a team of ten with customers in Sweden, the UAE, the UK, and Singapore. We're growing and expanding into new markets, and you'll be joining a knowledgeable and curious team that enjoys solving problems together.
We believe in a high degree of autonomy and in creating a day-to-day environment where work is both challenging and sustainable. For us, it's less about titles and more about what we build and how we build it together. We hope you want to be a part of it!
To make your application complete, please attach your university grades. If you are graduating in 2026, please include grades from your completed courses to date.
