Consumer Board division develops and provides consumer packaging boards for printing and packaging applications. A wide board and barrier coating selection is suitable for the design and optimization of packaging for liquid, food, pharmaceutical and luxury goods. We serve brand owners globally and are expanding in growth markets such as China and Asia Pacific to meet rising demand.
Consumer Board division is looking for a Sustainability Director to strengthen the Division Sustainability team.

You will report to SVP Sustainability Consumer Board Division, as part of the Division sustainability team, play an important role in leveraging our sustainability agenda into a competitive advantage. The Sustainability Director will work collaboratively across the Consumer Board division and the Group Sustainability function to advance sustainability integration within in the organization and across the division 's value chain. Responsibilities

* Establish strategies and tangible goals for increasing the implementation and success of integrating social sustainable strategies within Stora Enso Consumer Board assets
* Collaborate with business units to develop, support and evaluate sustainability value propositions that can help change / differentiate the division 's offering
* Provide guidance and review the strategic content of sustainability related communication for opportunities to enhance messages / vision / brand
* Lead sustainability related knowledge sharing sessions, setting agenda and desired outcomes
* Discover market and customer trends relating to sustainability management, helping Stora Enso Consumer Board to innovate in sustainability in our markets
* Develop, support and oversee Consumer Board customer and business sustainability engagement tactics
* Develop social sustainability related objectives, metrics, measurement, tracking protocols and tools, and feedback systems for use across key functions
* Represent Stora Enso Consumer board in select industry associations and sustainability platforms and conferences in sustainability
* Assist and collaborate with Consumer Board business units on internal deep dive / knowledge sharing presentations, customer pitches, proposals and other content
* Establish partnerships and cooperation across the Consumer Board business value chain
* Support integration of sustainability leadership in Stora Enso Consumer Board

Qualifications

* Master 's degree and 7+years of progressive leadership in sustainability
* Expertise and experience in corporate sustainability management in a global organization, preferably in a manufacturing industry
* Subject matter expertise in human rights and relevant on the ground experience to understand the complex socio-economic issues is highly desirable
* Knowledge and insight on circular bio-economy is an asset
* Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing corporate sustainability programs
* Experience in training and providing education to internal and external stakeholders
* Result- and solution oriented
* Very good team/networking and communication skills
* Excellent written and spoken English, with other language skills an advantage
* Willingness to travel
