Job description:
As Support engineer you will work with Volvo Penta key customers within all segments. In this role you will have a key position in the technical support chain to our Regions, markets and dealers.
Main target is to coordinate the corrective actions and to make sure our service organization can get solutions accepted by the end user and the OEMs. This requires a strong and flexible person with ability to drive complex cases and at the same time strive for ongoing improvements. Used to drive complex tasks to a solution, holistic view and social skills are important for a successful candidate.
The position requires that you sometimes travel to the market for on-site support with a short notice.

Qualifications:
• You have a high School degree (Swedish technical Gymnasium) or higher in engineering
• You are a good listener and have experience from working with customers and markets
• You have an excellent understanding and extensive experience of technical troubleshooting, with focus on electrical systems
• You have preferably good knowledge of, and an extensive experience from working with Volvo Penta engines and drives, and their control systems
• A basic understanding of mechanics and mechatronics is also required
• You communicate in English and Swedish fluently, other languages are beneficiary
• You have excellent skills in Microsoft Office
• To have good knowledge of engineering systems such as EVC Flash and Vision is an advantage
