Our job is to keep society running. Making sure that food gets to the grocery store, hospitals have electricity, and that people can commute to work. We do that by making sure that Volvo Group trucks, engines, buses, and construction equipment keep running uninterrupted all over the world. Together with other talented people from a diversity of backgrounds and with a wide variety of skills we make sure that spare parts are available when they are needed in a sustainable distribution network with thousands of dealerships.
Our team's main contribution to the Volvo Group consists of:
Securing quality in dealer stock orders and returns, through
optimization of roughly 4000 Volvo Group dealer's spare part inventory around the globe.
developing new ways of planning our supply chain, not the least by building our own cloud native solution on Azure.
Supporting data driven decision making, by
defining metrics and developing a robust analytical layer where data will be structured and transformed.
developing and maintaining high quality and intuitive BI solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
