On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist for a long-term assignment at a company north of Stockholm. Are you an industrial engineer with experience from supply chain and supplier quality management? Do you have knowledge in common quality management tools? Then this could be a challenging task for you.
The role
Your key responsibility will be to implement supplier quality management processes and practices for the company 's Frontline Direct Material suppliers in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
The position is situated in Kista, Sweden. Travelling to other Scandinavian countries is required.
Main tasks:
You are to provide leadership to suppliers and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Sourcing, SQM and Quality to ensure that product & process quality targets and technical & business requirements are met by:Conducting supplier audits, in accordance with annual audit plan Prepare and keep updated the quality annex, as part of supplier contract, in close cooperation with Contract ownersMeasure and report supplier KPIsRun supplier scorecard processIdentify and drive corrective and recovery action with suppliersParticipate in supplier negotiations as required to ensure supplier quality commitment Support definition and ensure compliance to sourcing and company policies, processes and proceduresEnsure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
Experience and competence
The desired candidate for this assignment has preferably 4-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing processes and methods, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain management, sourcing or other relevant area. Fluency in English, spoken and written, and additionally Swedish/Danish/Norwegian language is preferred.
Furthermore, knowledge in methods and tools related to (supplier) quality management (ex. quality control plans, Critical to Quality, Statistical Process Control, Failure-Mode-Effect Analysis, DMAIC Methodology, Six Sigma and Lean, Mistake proofing) is required. Also, knowledge in ISO9001:2015, ISO14001 etc. is a must.
You have strong problem solving and analytical skills and the capability to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment. Understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies within the relevant categories is vital for the role. We also value good stakeholder and contract management skills.
