A new department at HVDC is looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the Supplier Quality team that is dedicated to implement a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.
Your responsibilities
Drive Quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality plan implementation
Drive supplier selection through a robust qualification process
Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and drive improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards
Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis)
Planning, Execution and Follow up of Surveillance Audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement)
Lead Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement
Support Supplier claim management process
The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and expediting of components and products
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
3+ years' experience in similar role
Green Belt certification is desirable
Fluency in English - capability to lead technical conference calls, read drawings and procedures in English
Ability to work in cross functional and global team environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated technical aptitude and a passion for quality
Solid written and verbal communication skills
