hela Sverige As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you will play an important role of securing and developing the quality on products and systems delivered from our suppliers. You will support the suppliers to deliver right quality by both securing the suppliers quality processes as well as supporting the technical product quality.
The SQE will both support as well initiate quality related activities together with Category Cluster Teams. All quality deviations will be channeled thru the SQE that will ensure that right corrective actions will be initiated, closed and followed up. Relevant KPIs will be initiated and monitored by the SQE.
The role requires extensive travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments or expediting of products and systems. A systematic approach as e.g. Lean, Six Sigma or similar for addressing quality issues is required.
As SQE, you are genuine interested in technical components and systems. You are a proactive communicator and likes to interact with people. You are familiar to work in a "large project environment" close to the customer and have +10 year experience in quality or engineering. You are English speaking and have preferable academic degree in engineering.
You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. The position is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden and reports direct to the Head of SCM organization.
