hela Sverige We are looking for a Supplier Performance Manager responsible for supplier quality and supplier development within Procurement, Saab Aeronautics. If you have a genuine technical interest, enjoy working in an international environment together with our supplier base, developing processes and methods to secure quality and delivery on time, we can offer an interesting position.
Your role
Your main tasks are to secure quality and delivery performance from suppliers to Gripen and T-7 through close collaboration with international suppliers and cross-functional Saab Supplier Teams.
Internally, you work closely with the Saab Sourcing and Supply Managers to support strategies and targets concerning quality, delivery and business relationships for the suppliers under your responsibility. You collaborate with Saab's design engineers to ensure you have a good understanding of the complexity of parts and components and their relevant production processes. You have a good dialogue with Saab's production representatives linked to purchased material and supplier deviations.
Externally, you act as an important link between Saab and suppliers with the mission to assure that suppliers understand Saab's technical and general requirements and have the ability to meet them. Your work proactively with suppliers to secure and improve quality and delivery performance and prevent deviations from occurring. You evaluate suppliers' processes with focus on planning, production and risk management, to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet Saab's demands and expectations. You support suppliers in identifying risks and improvement potential as input to risk elimination and continuous improvements. For suppliers with poor quality and delivery performance, you work with overall improvement activities from a mid- and long-term perspective. You also support in short term deviation handling, root cause analyses and implementation of corrective actions.
Your profile
To succeed in this mission, you are a team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
You are an engineer or have equivalent work experience from positions in technical/production organizations. You have a genuine interest for technology, quality and production processes.
You have the skill to build and develop long-term business relationships, creating engagement and transparency and yet being encouraging, challenging and enduring in your mission to support suppliers in their process development and improvement work.
You are analytic and can make connections between a series of deviations and larger, underlying problems. You have an eye for details as well as the ability to see the big picture.
You are flexible and take large own responsibility in planning and completing activities and tasks. You enjoy working in an international environment and are comfortable in both production areas and management meeting contexts. Since you will frequently visit suppliers in different countries, you enjoy travelling for work.
Required skills

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
