hela Sverige On behalf of our client we are now looking for a subcontractor to work on a assignment as Senior Quality Supplier Manager to perform the QA management of assigned External Suppliers within the Global External Sourcing department within an international pharmaceutical company. The assignment is planned to start as soon as possible and last until 2012.10.31.
The role
You will be responsible for all QA activities that directly support execution of the Quality Management of Suppliers both within local departments and in assigned areas outside of these teams, for Global External Sourcing Suppliers of Formulation and Packing (F&P) Materials. This includes, but is not limited to, the Quality System oversight and/or performance of the following activities: change control, product quality complaint and deviation investigations, quality issue management and escalation, product release, QA Agreements (establishment and maintenance) between the company and External Suppliers and between the local department and other sites within company. This position requires strong cross-functional ways of working with non-QA members within the company.
In addition, the preparation and submission of periodic Supplier Quality Assessments, Regulatory Agency interactions and process optimization are within the scope of this role. Regulatory Agency interaction includes preparation for, and management of, Regulatory Agency inspections at External Suppliers and company sites (when External Suppliers are assessed.) In addition, incumbents having Quality Technical capabilities at a level to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) fall within this job description. This position also supports the QA Lead and cross-functional team members during issue resolution.
Minimum experience
• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering
• Proven broad experience in either the pharmaceutical operations environment or pharmaceutical Quality Assurance role
• Strong demonstrated knowledge e.g. cGMPs, Quality Systems and the pharmaceutical supply chain environment. Also strong understanding of industry standards such as Pharmacopeia and ISO standards.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required 25% of the time
Preferred experience/requirements
• Masters Degree in Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs or other advanced scientific field
• Multi-site/multi-functional experience
