hela Sverige We at Vattenfall is now looking for a Strategy Advisor for Business Area Markets.
In the role as Strategy Advisor at Vattenfall you will report to the head of Governance & Strategy, within OPC, but will also work closely with the head of OPC and the other members of BA Markets Management team.
We offer a challenging and exciting position in an international team with a good atmosphere.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
In your role as a Strategy Advisor you'll mainly be working with:
• Drive the yearly BA Markets strategy process securing that BA Markets has a competitive strategy in light of the rapid transformation of the energy industry, which deeply affects BA Markets? operations and opportunities; and coordinate the yearly BA Markets business planning process
Secure alignment in the organization around BA Markets strategy and secure efficient follow-up of BA Markets strategy
• Drive and/or contribute to the commercial business development activities within BA Markets
• Sponsor and/or manage ad-hoc strategic initiatives e.g. for Vattenfall Board of Directors, CEO, and BA Markets Management Team
• Participate in and/or drive Operational Excellence initiatives within BA Markets
Qualifications required:
• M.Sc. in Engineering, Economics or in Business Administration
10 years working experience whereof 3-5 years project and process management experience from a leading strategy consulting firm, or equivalent skills gained elsewhere
• General trading business understanding and experience from complex business environments
• Good understanding of the European utilities industry
Fluent in English
Personal characteristics:
• Highly cooperation oriented and with very good communication skills
• Strong leadership skills, to get commitment without hierarchical power
• Ability to combine conceptual/big picture analysis with attention to detail
• Very structured working methods
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High integrity
