HVDC is growing rapidly and to meet the increased volumes, we now seek experienced Strategic Sourcing Managers. You will get a global responsibility within your business area towards our suppliers. This includes ensuring that our HVDC project receives delivery of equipment and services at the lowest possible cost, to the right quality and delivered on time. Your strategic business relationships with our external key suppliers and close cooperation with our internal suppliers will be important to succeed in this role. You will work with long-term strategic supplier development including follow-up of existing suppliers as well as identification and qualification of new suppliers. You will also be responsible ensuring that our major suppliers have long-term base contracts and as part of the Supply Management team at HVDC will you play an important role in the tendering phase of our projects. Requirements
You have experience from purchasing or sales and if you also have knowledge of power products used in HVDC systems is that highly qualifying. You have a university degree in engineering, economics or obtained knowledge through professional experience. As a person you have passion for business, a strong inner drive and are a true team player. You are outgoing and social and thrive in a fast paced environment where you work systematic and structured. It is advantageous if you have experience from contract management and contract law together with negotiating skills.
