We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager for EMEA region to join our team in Helsingborg!
• You will work as a Strategic Sourcing Manager responsible for a team of 6 strategic sourcing professionals.
* Continually develop and execute the overall sourcing strategy for the EMEA region and the manufacturing units in Helsingborg and Edinburgh.
* Deliver on business unit's sourcing savings targets.
* Work closely with corporate sourcing function as well as sourcing in other business units within JBT.
* Develop sourcing processes to support improved supplier performance in terms of safety, delivery accuracy, quality and cost, Examples of key processes are qualification of new suppliers & products, requalification of existing suppliers, supplier KPI's and contract design.
* Leading the implementation of cost-reduction- and value-increasing initiatives within the supply chain. Identify opportunities and be a driving force for change.
* Participate in the development of new products, working closely with R&D and Engineering to identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities.
* Close cooperation with the Operational Purchasing team regarding capacity planning and lead-time reduction opportunities.
* Manage internal reporting of key sourcing metrics as well as external reporting required for regulatory compliance.
* You are expected to travel approximately 40-50 days internationally per year.

You enjoy being a leader and can show us documented experience.
You have:
* A Degree within Business or Engineering
* 5-10 years' experience from strategic sourcing in manufacturing industry
* Proven track record of cost reduction activities and implementation of new suppliers
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Previous experience from an international organization and/or sourcing in Eastern Europe/China/India are considered an advantage
