MAN Cryo is currently looking for a Strategic Project Procurement Manager in Gothenburg to take a challenging strategic and operative role as Procurement Projects on an international and global market.
About the job
As a Project Procurement Manager you will be part of a team that consists 2 people working with operative and strategic purchasing projects involving MAN Cryos total market with both own production and external production. You will be responsible of the procurement strategy implementation and buying in different projects with close contact to suppliers, stakeholders and technical and commercial departments to ensure the project implementation will turn out successful. The team is working with a broad range of Swedish and international suppliers and procurement is an important and vital part of the whole process. The projects and procurement will include purchasing both of raw material such as plates, valves and piping material for own production as well as procurement of larger cryogenic marine tanks, pumps and turn key applications.
Your will own the whole process of procurement in each project, including contracting, analysis of key numbers and markets and ensure primary goals will be achieved and you reports to Head of Procurement in Sweden.
You have daily contact with MAN's global organization, especially the Asian market, and travels will be a natural factor in this position with a couple of trips a year to begin.
Responsibilities
• Responsible of all procurement and buying in specific projects
• Direct contact with suppliers and stakeholders
• Establish Supplier Contracts and Purchase Orders in the project;
• Worldwide requests of goods across using the globally distributed partners
• Comparisons of prices;
• Implementation of a project-specific procurement strategy
• Implementation of a procurement plan in cooperation with technical and commercial departments
• Control and monitoring of all procurement activities within a project;
• Creating of regular review and progress reports;
• Preparation and follow-up of project-specific INEX plans;
• Initiating of material coverage analysis;
• Arrange supplier reviews and evaluation from project point of view
Qualifications
You have a commercial or technical University degree or degree as Bachelor or equivalent and minimum 5 years of experience from Procurement is required, whereof several years from subcontracting. Procurement experience from an international environment would be advantageous. A very good communication and negotiation skills is a strong key for success in the role and it is necessary to speak and write English fluent. Further you should have good organization skills and the ability to work under pressure together with a strong drive and proven record to achieve results.

We are looking for a person that can work independently against set up goals and feel strong motivation by taking the business to another level. Your like to communicate in an efficient and relation building manner and have a project oriented approach and the ability to keep stakeholders involved and informed. Furthermore, you have strong analytical and methodical side and are good at working in a structured way. You have no problem that travels will be a part of your job.
