Sandvik MedTech, a Product Area within Sandvik Materials Technology, is the leading contract manufacturer and developer of advanced alloys for use in medical devices. Product Area MedTech currently employs 500 people, mainly in the US, UK and Sweden.

Key performance areas
We are looking for two Strategic Account Managers who will develop the relationships with strategic customers and sell Sandvik MedTech's value proposition. The role will be the primary lead for the strategic customers. In order to take the full value of Sandvik MedTech to this business the individual will need to orchestrate and manage various entities of Sandvik MedTech as they provide extended value to the customers. Focus will be to increase commitment, market share and profitability. Location is US and Europe.

Key responsibilities
* Building Strategic Business Plan.
* Communicate direct with the customer's high level management and internally at Sandvik MedTech and to the strategic customer team at the markets.
* Make global budgets in close cooperation with local management.
* Ensure that technical competence and best practices are shared globally to support customers global expansion plans.
* Provide input to R&D by channelling customer strategies into Product Area MedTech for development of our product and service offer.
* Pricing strategy.

Your profile
To achieve the expected results in this role we believe the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience gained in the areas of sales, marketing or business development including a minimum of three years at management level. This experience will be supported by a university degree in economics/marketing or Engineering. With excellent strategic, coaching, interpersonal and intercultural skills you will demonstrate a proven track record with a strong passion for success and a strategic customer development. You will be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paste environment; from budget modeling to strategy formulation. Passion, drive and integrity comes natural to you.
