Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team. The Strategic Account Manager will play a critical role in developing and nurturing long-term relationships with our key clients. This position requires a deep understanding of our clients' business objectives and the ability to align our products or services to meet their needs. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with assigned key accounts.
Understand the clients' business goals and challenges and align our solutions to address them effectively.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issue resolution.
Account Growth:
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding our services within the client's organization.
Develop account growth strategies and execute plans to achieve revenue targets.
Account Planning:
Create and maintain account plans that outline objectives, strategies, and action plans for each client.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of account plans.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on our products or services and industry trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in collaboration with the legal and finance teams.
Customer Satisfaction:
Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, revenue forecasts, and strategic account plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience as a Strategic Account Manager or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the industry and market trends.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
