You will be a part of our team with specialists and together you provide both internal and external customers with your expertise. Location can be Oxelösund or Borlänge.About the positionAs a design specialist you will be a part of SSABs Knowledge Service Center where 22 of our specialists work. Together you provide both internal and external customers with expertise within different areas and help them use our high strength steel in the best profitable and sustainable way.As a part of this team you will work in a global environment taking care of a wide variety of issues related to our customers upgrading projects. You will work together with the customers in development their projects and give conceptual solutions to their needs. This is a temporary position for one year and since our customers are located all over the work, travelling is to be expected.Your qualificationsWe are looking for a person with mechanical engineering background with experience from solid mechanics and preferably good knowledge in Inventor. Meshing experience is needed from preferably Ansa but skills from Hypermech are of interest. The FEA experience should be at an intermediate level so at least 1 year of effective work is required. In FEA we use LS-Dyna but an experienced user in Nastran or Abaqus are of interest.Your personal skills are very important in this position and to succeed we believe that you have a mind for service and a genuine interest in the technical field. You have strong communication skills and an engaging and humble approach towards others.
