The Job
The People & Culture Senior Business Partner is responsible for providing a blend of operational and strategic People & Culture support, to attract, develop, engage and retain top talent within the Nordic region and more specifically for the Swedish D2C division. Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and levels within the division, the role will support the delivery of the People & Culture strategy. In close collaboration with International and Nordic, People and Culture teams, you will manage the day-to-day People & Culture operations activity for the D2C based employees in Sweden; ensuring that a consistent approach is implemented across the entire organization and that this is considered in the context of the wider business units that the teams are part of. The Senior Business Partner, People & Culture will also be the lead in key People and Culture initiatives; advising on Swedish employment law and supporting managers with performance management, business transformation, succession planning and talent management.

The Daily

The role will be required to:
Drive key People & Culture initiatives across the organization/division, including performance and talent management, succession planning, compensation planning, staffing, training and development, diversity and inclusion, rewards & recognition, and employee communication.
Actively contribute to the business strategy; providing HR expertise and challenge to the management team.
Provide an effective and professional People and Culture business partnership enabling the business to achieve their commercial goals.
Partner with the business to develop People and Culture plans in line with the business strategy and deliver against them.
Proactively handle day-to-day operational aspects but also contribute at the strategic level.
Work with department leadership and P&C leadership on establishing key people focus areas to support business objectives.
Provide solutions and coaching to employee-related challenges while maintaining a balance between being a strategic business partner and employee champion and actively upholding and supporting the mission of the organization.
Develop pragmatic and robust solutions to People and Culture issues in conjunction with the business and the People and Culture Team.
Establishing and maintaining good relations with the union in collaboration with the Swedish P&C team.
Mainly Support the D2C Functional Lead for the Nordics.

Employees Relations
Act as advisor, coach and facilitator to the business/division on topics concerning the full employee cycle.
Establish effective methods of communications, feedback mechanisms for successes and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Act as a sounding board and coach to business managers; provide them with exceptional HR support, advice, guidance, skills and tools to proactively manage their teams effectively.
Advise on all employee relations issues, at all times ensuring best practice, legal compliance and policies and procedures are adhered to - where necessary, partnering with internal and external outside legal counsel.

Learning and Development
Promote and support the Performance Management process providing training solutions and partnering with the central Learning & Development function as necessary.
Identify Learning & Development needs across the designated client group and propose appropriate solutions.
Contribute to the development of courses - in-house or external and constantly evaluate training programs in partnership with the Learning & Development Team.

Compensation & Benefits
Work with line managers to communicate and explain the pay and reward philosophy.
Advise managers on benefit issues ensuring equity and consistency across the organization.
In collaboration with Compensation, manage the merit planning process ensuring budget constraints are met and employees are rewarded at market level & in line with performance.

Recruitment
Manage and proactively partner with client stakeholders and the centrally located Recruitment function to provide an outstanding and coordinated recruitment service.
Consult and advise line managers on job specifications/structures and potential candidates.
Work within an agreed recruitment budget to attract and hire the best available talent.
Actively promote the career development of employees through:
Advertising positions internally and ensuring appropriately qualified candidates are given consideration for promotional opportunities.
Ensuring managers actively encourage and support people in moving across the organization

The Essentials
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and prior experience of business partnering in a fast-paced matrix environment.
Proven track record supporting a high-growth and dynamic organization, preferably within an environment of digital transformation.
Well-versed in current Swedish labor law, with the ability to apply this to varying situations and scenarios.
Proven ability to partner with a diverse client group, from staff to senior management.
Proven experience in problem-solving and organizational management practices within a matrix organization.
Experience working in a multinational tech organization.
English language skills.
