The Sous Chef Role
Our kitchen team has a taste for developing the flavours to cook up a storm and strives to deliver an experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests.

Our Sous Chefs crave the taste of success and can handle the heat in any kitchen!
Cooking is the spice of your life and you have a passion for food which ensures consistently high standards and a creative flair that showcases ingredients
You will be right hand to the Head Chef and will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the kitchen department


As Sous Chef, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering incredible service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!

Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction
Strong verbal communication skills
Likes having fun at work
Ability to understand the brand identity of Nikkei concept
Can create recipes and ideas according to the concept
Good training skills
Can lead and motivate team
Willingness to continue to learn
Holds pre-service briefings with both kitchen and service
Ensure the highest standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness/hygiene
Can calmly lead and control kitchen service in absence of Head chef
