MachineGames are looking for a sound designer with a broad set of creative and technical skills to join our audio team. A proactive attitude and ability to engage in inter-disciplinary communication is a must. This is a sound design only position, with no composition duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with the audio team to help achieve the projects global, and audio specific goals.

• Record and edit original source material for use yours and the teams sound design.

• Create audio assets and implement them into the engine.

• Edit, process and implement VO

• Finding and fixing audio bugs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience / at least one AAA game as Sound Designer.

• A passion for sound design and games.

• Demonstrable skill and knowledge in recording and manipulating audio.

• Experience using popular middleware such as Wwise.

• Experience contributing to development of proprietary tech.

• Familiarity of scripting audio in 3d map editors is a plus.

• All applications must include a relevant portfolio.
