Role Summary:

Supporting the Validation Services team in the production of system/service qualification documentation.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a member of a dedicated documentation team, the Technical Writer will generate technical material and binders. This role will compose text, organize, coordinate, and direct specifically assigned technical writing projects. Assignments will focus on preparation of technical qualification binders that assists end users safely and effectively toward operation of a service or a particular product.

Key responsibilities include:

• Research, collect source data, and interview appropriate personnel to compose text for technical binders,which meets GEHC standards and procedures.
• Plans, writes, and maintains systems and user support documentation efforts, including online help screens
• Create documentation methodologies, frameworks
• Prepare documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation
• Coordinate qualification orders of projects to ensures thorough proper documentation

Qualifications:

Familiarity with conventions in form, structure, and notation of technical writing
Exceptional written, organizational, inter-personal and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Wide degree of creativity
Highly motivated with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Ability to communicate using English

Desired Characteristics:

Currently completing studies towards university qualification
Interest in working in an environment with a scientific focus
