On behalf of the DEALERPOINT Delivery manager, the Solution Leader will take the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for the mentioned solutions and supports the full utilization of solutions
The Solution Leader is responsible to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time(small enhancements and projects) and runtime (maintenance) deliveries in application management.
The solution leader will have to interact in close relationship with the team leader of the solution.
Responsibilities and powers
• Functional manager of a Business Analysts team
• Plan, inform, co-ordinate, distribute, implement and monitor the team's activities on a regular basis to create an efficient work distribution
• Act as a coach for members of the team, give support, feedback and recognition related to performance
• Ensure an open, honest and collaborative mindset within the team
• Be a driver for a learning organization and work with continuous improvement
• Support and encourage development activities for the team members in cooperation with the respective Line Manager (HR responsible)
• Identify competence needs, plan time for individual training and cross training within the team, knowledge sharing and development of team members
• Support Line Manager in the performance assessment of team members
• Manage solution management capacity plan for the solutions
• Act as the owner of the solution
• Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
• Contribute to the establishment of the solution delivery plan & secure that it is aligned with the level of business criticality for the solution
• Define authorization rules for application access and manage application access
• Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Secure continuity management for the solution
• Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Prioritize requirements from Process & Solution Key User Network
• Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
• Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test and secure that user acceptance test will be performed
• Make sure that training needs are identified and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material
• Communicate enhancement estimates to the manager of the business solution portfolio, Process Manager or equivalent
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Set the requirement and approve hand over from project to maintenance
• Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to Volvo Group Policies, Directives and Guidelines
• Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, business processes and implement recommended tools and methods
• Work proactively with continuous improvements
• Propose needed service level targets
• Give input to the yearly Solution delivery plan within the budget frame
• Actively contribute with knowledge sharing amongst colleagues by participating in Solution Leader community and act as an ambassador in an external context.
Wanted profile
As a Solution Leader, you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation with your team and all the stakeholders.
You have proven experience in the Renault Trucks Sales domain, in coordinating complex activities and excel in demonstrating core values.
Like to work in multi cultural team, in an outgoing and communicative environment.
Focus on customer and ability to think about strategy
Ability to lead in a constructive, energetic way to achieve goals.
Required competences
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Volvo Group retail processes & solutions
• Strong ability to manage in a complex environment
