Sandvik IT Services is expanding and we are now looking for a Solution Architect who will be an important part of Sandvik IT Services' Application Delivery. The position is based in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As Solution Architect your main areas of responsibility are design and implementation of IT solutions but you will also be responsible for continuous development of IT solutions. You are well versed in requirements specification and can easily relate to customer needs. Some of the areas we are working with are: .NET, SharePoint, BI (Business Intelligence), SAP and integration technologies.
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or the equivalent and have several years of experience with architecture. Previous experience from working with integration of different services and platforms is a requirement, as is knowledge and understanding of service-oriented architecture. Extensive knowledge of different IT solutions' capabilities and benefits is essential in order to be successful in this position.
You will use your knowledge and experience to support our developers, technicians and project manager and foster team spirit and commitment. The continued development of IT solutions requires a comprehensive view: you must be able to see how services fit the customers' operations and how they can be integrated with existing services and platforms. Your experience from requirements specification allows you to support the customer in identifying both functional and non-functional requirements. You are fluent in both written and verbal English.
