We offer you the opportunity to join our Innovation organization in Malmö, as a Software Test Engineer, to provide stakeholders with information about software testing and the perceived quality of the software under test. This information should be complete and intelligibly presented to facilitate decision making about the system under test, by all stakeholders. As a Software Test Engineer, you will participate during the complete test life cycle, which includes test planning, test design, test execution, requirement reviews and test result reporting.
Since the method of working is Session-Based Test management (SBTM), the Software Test Engineer is required to be self-sufficient and to be able to responsibly handle the freedom of the role. Test automation is on our agenda, so experience with this is a nice to have qualification, specifically the automated testing of micro services.
We expect you to:
* have 3+ years of experience in software testing; plan, execute test activities and report the outcome.
* have a great in-depth knowledge of the API or software under test.
* be able to work closely with the development team.
* have a deep technical mindset and understanding of different database solutions, API-testing, network solutions and software testing.
* contribute to improving test processes and methodology.
* have a good structure in your work, technical competence and good communication skills
* have experience or good knowledge of below technologies or similar:
- Development language: Java (used by platform development teams)
- Database: MySQL, Cassandra
- Logging: Kibana
- Server: Linux
- Environment: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitoring: Grafana, Prometeus
- Reporting: Jira, Microsoft Office
- Documentation: Confluence
