Job Description
Bosch eBike Systems is the market and technology leader in the eBike business - join us and contribute to more sustainable commuting and more fun on trails!
The Lund eBike teams cover a wide range of technology areas such as embedded real-time systems, communication via CAN, BLE and cellular, displays and user interfaces on RTOS platforms, algorithm development including machine learning and interaction with cloud backend and mobile apps. For one of our teams, developing leading edge connectivity and edge AI products, we are now looking for a Software Project Lead.
As a Software Project Lead you:
Manage the embedded software development team together with the Agile Master (Scrum Master) our agile scaled software program and be the interface to the Main project.
As a process owner, you understand agile practices, methods and mindset as well as traditional project management and make these approaches work seamlessly together.
As a servant leader, you communicate efficiently with the agile team and the main project manager as well as other stakeholders. You ensure that deliveries meet the expectations of the Release Project.
You understand the capabilities of the agile team and how changes in plans affect their committed work.
Ensure that team performance and results are measured and transparent to the team and all stakeholders by implementing and monitoring common metrics and KPIs.
Are responsible for communicating clearly to the agile team about changes in the Main Project and Release project.
Use your skills for conflict resolution and alignment as a bridge between agile and traditional methods, promoting values of openness, honesty, and respect.
Assist the Agile Master in removal of impediments raised by the team, falling in the project domain.
Escalate risks and impediments that could hinder the team in achieving its objectives to the Main project.
Ensure close alignment of the SW development team with the other subprojects in the Main project, to support overall product and project management targets in the best possible way.
Be ready to drive changes that are cross-team i.e. SW/HW/Mechanics etc.
Align and drive software scope with software releases to production.
Interface and support industrialization project.
Drive team building, good team spirit, team development, and continuous improvement in cooperation with the Agile Master.
Qualifications
A successful candidate is a team player with strong social skills as well as a cross-functional mindset, e.g. software-hardware-test. Furthermore, you have a strong drive, a "can-do" positive attitude and you take ownership of assignments and are keen to deliver on time. You are motivated to continuously learn as well as sharing your knowledge openly.
The following qualifications are relevant for this role:
Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
Relevant experience in SW development and project management.
Experience as a leader in technology and product development organization.
Great communication skills.
Experience of agile methods, their implementation and continuous improvement.
Experience of tool chains for effective product development and release
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
