We believe you have a bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar and have a few years experience from embedded programming in the C programming language.
As a person we believe that you are curious on technology, a quick learner, interested in programming and scripting. Knowledge in C-programming is required, experience in Linux systems and embedded systems are highly valued. If you have team leader experience, or ambition/capacity in this direction, it is considered an extra plus.
THE NEW VIDEO PRODUCTS UNIT
We work together with product management to develop cutting edge network video products for the professional surveillance market built on Axis leading technology platforms. As market leader in the digital surveillance market we are working in a fast growing market due to a shift from analogue to digital technology which means that our unit is expanding with more embedded software engineers and project managers. The unit is about 50 employees today divided into three teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main tasks will involve:
• C-programming in embedded Linux environment, including
• Analysis
• Design
• Implementation
• Unit test implementation
• Troubleshooting
• You will be employed in a young and competent team with fellow software engineers and project managers.
• You'll be working in project form together with other software engineers, mechanical engineers, hardware engineers, technical writers, and testers to take product from idea to volume production.
