hela Sverige Are you passionate about cyber security? Do you spend time thinking about the vulnerability of the software systems you are using and wondering if there are ways to exploit them? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join us at Technologies, one of the departments within Axis R&D, with responsibility for developing Axis product platforms that are the base for all Axis Video Products.
Your future team
You will join our Common Core and Compute Platform team, that is responsible for Boot, Linux kernel and device drivers and making sure our internal and external chips can perform it's best in terms of system performance, image quality, video analytics and cyber security. This is the foundation for the majority of Axis fantastic camera products. The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.
Your role as a software engineer
The team designs and implements security features that give our products a high level of trust in IOT ecosystems and enables interoperability with major IOT security standards. You will complement their work by introducing new tools and methods for identifying vulnerabilities and potential exploits in the system that will further strengthen Axis position in the market within the cyber security area.
Who are you?
You have experience of methods for threat modelling of components and systems and you understand the need of good security related processes and methods being in place. You have a genuine interest in software development close to hardware SoC platforms and the ability to constantly challenge and expand the knowledge boundaries within security area.
As Axis values teamwork it is important that you contribute with good spirit and welcome the different agile working methodologies used in our projects. You are an energetic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive and an ability to work unsupervised.

* Secure development and testing
* A master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar.
* Identifying vulnerabilities and exploits
* Security tools
* Penetration testing
