We are now looking for a Software Engineer, focusing on Windows Application Development, to join our Endpoint team at our office in Stockholm.
What is Hive Endpoint team?
The Endpoint team's main responsibility is maintaining, monitoring and improving Hive's core desktop application which is installed on millions of our customers' employees' machines. The team has a high focus on security to ensure that our end customers are protected against attack vectors with the use of our application. Finally, the team continuously cross-collaborates with our product teams to integrate new requirements and features into the application in a secure, performant and maintainable way.
Working as a Software Engineer in the Endpoint team
Together with your team you will work on Windows application development focusing on packaging our core Java desktop application, maintaining and improving its code and automate its testing and packaging through Azure DevOps CI/CD. You will also get the opportunity to rearchitect and redesign our application installer using enterprise-grade best-practices while also helping maintain the mac version of our software.
Previous experience
3+ years of experience in a relevant field
Experience in application packaging and deployment
Experience in windows application development
Java or other OO languages
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
Experience in secure windows application development
Experience in developing Mac applications
Knowledge of Azure DevOps
Knowledge of scripting languages (ruby, python)
