About the product area and product team
Digital Core is a part of the Customer Fulfilment domain and is the digital thread throughout our supply chain. Our vision is to create a world leading supply chain tech team that will enable Business Tech to continuously surprise and delight customers and accelerate our business - by releasing the power of people, data and technology. You will be working in the product team Trade GTS that has the mission to secure legal compliant solution towards customs. To achieve this we need to deliver efficiency & accuracy in Trade Flow across channels, brands & systems, Always with an Omni perspective. Our main stakeholders are the different impex departments, customs and Accounting for Intrastat. Trade GTS main scope is within the customs handling processes i.e. Article Classification, Import, Export, NCTS, Cross Border solutions, Bonded Warehouse, Intrastat etc.
About the role
The Software Engineer SAP ERP role will give you the opportunity to learn and use your functional knowledge, configuration, testing, development, and technical competences. We always strive to continuously build knowledge and learn beyond our current skillsets. You will be part of all phases of the software development lifecycle, from idea and analysis to working solutions. Our team works with Agile methodologies in quarterly increments, broken down into shorter sprints. The work will be focused around the product backlog, created based on agreed product mission as well as defined objectives and key results. Furthermore, work tasks include:
Process mapping
Drive Application Development
Support cross functional tasks and initiatives
Roll-out new system solutions
GAP/FIT analysis and documentation with Business Expert
Support training sessions for stakeholders connected to the Go-live
Test
Collaboration with stake holders and super users
Support business empowerment
Improve ways of working
Qualifications
We are looking for
A talented SAP resource that is highly committed, customer driven and strategic. We, as a team, will identify plenty of potentials and improvement areas. Hence, to make a difference for our team you need to be able to transform this into tangible actions in a "keep it simple" way.
Mandatory requirements:
More than two years of hands-on experience as a SAP ERP Application Specialist in an Agile environment
Experience and/or education within Logistics
Experience of Customs processes: customs warehouse solutions (Transit, Import, Export, Bonded WH), customs supporting solutions (Classification, Embargo and Intrastat)
Proven Knowledge and experience in SAP GTS (Global Trade Solution), SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP SD & MM
Ability to understand the business processes and the functionality available in SAP
Strong knowledge and experience of ABAP Object Oriented Programming and its interface capabilities: BAPI, IDOCS, Reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
