Role description:
Volvo Cars is looking for a Software engineer for the Talent acquisition team with extensive experience in SAP HCM and Success factors. You will work in close collaboration with our stakeholders and other development teams, ensuring the technological landscape of Volvo creating a better People Experience for all. You'll be part of leading the progression of our digital capability within an area riddled with technological dept, enabling the PX processes to move into the future.
We need someone who:
• Has strong working knowledge on different implementation scenarios on SuccessFactors and HCM areas.
• Is able to consistently deliver in a multi-dependency landscape in complex projects with a strong architectural design.
• Is able to advise the rest of the team in the development of our area.
• Consistently approaches all engineering work with a non-functional requirements lens.
• Understands adjacent domains as they affect to the delivery.
• Reviews epics and projects critically and ensures they are appropriately broken down and prioritised, and well understood by the team.
• Ensures dependencies are noted and well understood by the team, at both the task and epic level.
• Effectively handles risk, change, and uncertainty within the team.
• Decides and acts responsibly in their work without having the total picture during routine business, as well as when in high pressure situations.
• Anticipates and communicates blockers, delays, and cost ballooning before they require escalation.
• When taking action, weighs cost and value in order to take the most economic action. Uses this thinking in their own work and to foster a culture within their team where people apply economic thinking to make timely decisions.

You are a person who thrives when work is a bit challenging and requires problem solving. You are structured, innovative and have a strong customer focus in combination with a business-oriented attitude. Strong focus on delivery and deadline is required. You enjoy teamwork; contribute with team spirit and likes taking on responsibility.

• A university degree in engineering.
• 10 year's experience with SAP HCM and Success Factor of which at least 3 years within the automotive industry.
• Hands - on experience in different phases of project life cycle like - Implementation, Go-Live, Testing, and Support
• Is SuccessFactors Certified Consultant in multiple modules with around four HR Transformation project experience.
• Good knowledge of large digital landscapes with complex legacy dependencies spanning across globally
• Ability to see the big picture, solve problems and act under pressure
• A global and agile mindset with strong customer focus.
• Experience in working Agile and using Azure Dev Ops (ADO).
• Strong awareness of cultural diversity and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken
• Additional languages considered a merit
