Axis New Video Products department is responsible for the development of our new products, driving projects that includes software, electronics and mechanical development from idea to final product.
Since Axis is growing and we continue to see a steady growth in production volume we recognize a need to expand the department with an experienced software engineer interested in system design, taking our Production Test System to the next level of excellence. Our Production Test System is used in our production facilities and logistic centers to test and configure each product before it’s sent to the customer. The system makes sure that all parts of the product are working, executing a series of test modules that exercises the hardware in different ways.
The position contains all aspects of software development from requirements collection, system design, software design, implementation, debugging and documentation. You can expect a high degree of job variation in this position and the right candidate will have a lot of influence on Axis future production test system and production test modules.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a passionate engineer with a genuine interest in software development and system design. You are an excellent networker and a creative person always striving to perform top results on time. Apart from the above you have the following qualifications
• A Masters Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Good knowledge in software development in C++, MFC and COM/ActiveX
• Knowledge about applications communicating over TCP/IP networks
• Good knowledge in English (written and spoken).
