About the role
Tietoevry is now looking for someone eager to develop cutting-edge solutions within 5G technology, focusing on C programming. As part of our agile team in Karlstad, you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced telecom systems throughout the entire development process - from analysis and systematization to implementation, testing, integration, and support.
You'll be a key member of a team of 7-8 dedicated developers, where we collaborate to find smart solutions for customers around the world. We foster an open and collaborative culture where everyone contributes to the team 's success and development. We 're looking for someone who enjoys working in an agile scrum team and is constantly improving and developing new solutions.
Main responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain telecom systems.
• Contribute to the development of features from start to finish.
• Participate in various phases of software development and support.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has completed a post-secondary technical education, such as a Master's in Engineering.
• Has relevant work experience, such as a developer or project manager in telecommunications.
• Has knowledge of C/C++, 5G, Linux/Unix.
• Can communicate fluently in English, as the work is primarily conducted in English.
Experience of 2-3 years in a similar role is considered an advantage. Knowledge of embedded systems, GoLang, Docker, Microservices, and OpenShift is also beneficial.
