We are now hiring a Software Developer to our Software Team within Powertrain Electronics. You will be working with applications within Electromobility, but also with Engine Management Systems for diesel engines and we would love you to join our team.

Who are we?
We, your 20 future colleagues at Volvo Penta Powertrain Electronics in Gothenburg, are responsible for developing engine management system for diesel engines. We also develop software for electrical and hybrid driveline system used both in marine and industrial applications. Even though we represent different roles such as project leaders, system engineers, cable harness designers, test engineers and software developers, we see the importance of close cooperation and teamwork. Our team is participating in all stages of the product cycle - new development projects, product maintenance, quality issues and advanced engineering projects.
Who are you?
You love challenges and have a passion for embedded control systems. You have experience and deep knowledge within software development of embedded systems.
Our trademark at Volvo Penta is innovation and as we are always looking for fresh ideas, which means that your attitude and mind-set will be a key asset for us.
You have a Master Degree within Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or Computer science
You should be able to communicate in both English and Swedish
You have a valid driver license
