Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineer you will create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics. You will split your time between operations/on-call duties and developing systems and software that help increase site reliability and performance. As SRE you will automate redundancy and automate manual tasks that you can turn into programmatic tasks to keep the stack up and running. As a Site reliability engineer you are able to oversee software and performance of the full technology stack.
Responsibilities:
General systems uptimes
Systems performance
Latency
Incident and outage management
Systems and application monitoring
Change management
Capacity planning
Qualifications:
Ability to Code
Understanding Operating Systems.
CI/CD
Using Version Control and monitoring Tools
Deep Understanding of Databases.
Understand Cloud Native Applications.
Software-centric mindset
