In this position you will be working within the Vattenfall IT organization based in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Gliwice, Katowice and Stockholm.
Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT infrastructure services for the entire Vattenfall Group. It is an international shared service center, providing IT services and support. Vattenfall IT Infrastructure supports Vattenfall by having professional people, knowledgeable in both business and IT, integrating services to enable business functions, providing a helicopter view of required services, utilizing the external market and enforcing standardization in order to optimize cost efficiency.
We are now looking for a Manager Service Level and Product Management who will be responsible for an internally provided set of services and eager to increase the customer satisfaction at the same time. The Service Owner is first point of contact for the business and other important stakeholders in this area. The team consists of 11 Service Owners and Managers, divided over several countries (so you will be working in a virtual team). Each team member is responsible for a specific set of services or represent part of a business interface.
Responsibilities as Manager
• Manage and improve lean processes and procedures for the deliveries and support to the demand and supply interface based on best practice.
• Responsible for the preparation for new or changed services with full oversight of the change process and the maintenance of regulatory, legal and professional standards as well as managing the performance of existing services whilst reducing operational costs.
• Manage the SLA portfolio and its performance ensuring relevant KPI's are set, monitored, reported and disseminated effectively.
• Responsible to ensure the completeness of the service catalogue offerings while having a clear development roadmap, volume & cost transparency, risk status, and clearly documented support and maintenance agreements.
• Driver in orchestrating a demand driven prioritization of activities of the teams based on external and internal factors and behavioral and technical trends on the market
• Work closely with IT Delivery units and our external partners to ensure that the deliveries are aligned with present and future business demands.
• Strong focus on people development and team culture with sufficient functional knowledge of technology and business to support your team members in daily topics.
• Drive a performance culture through identification/usage of appropriate tools e.g. performance targets, one-on-ones, clear engagement strategy, regular performance reviews.
Other responsibilities
• Implement strategy and lead activities focusing on demand driven engagement in business relationships and steering of service offer development and topics
• Work together with business representatives and management on the realization of a digital workplace experience strategy where technology is seen as an enabler for the overall employee experience cross Vattenfall
• Support key strategic projects for all of Vattenfall IT by prioritizing your own and the team agenda and activities or shift and stress focus where needed
• Develop and implement governance and concepts on e.g. feedback processing, customer care and education and awareness of IT activities or similar topics together with various members of the department
• Grow team culture and orchestrate employee centric activities like on/offboarding, performance, workload and lead during a period of change due to the new way of working
We expect that
You are an experienced manager with an ability to lead, motivate and support employees and other stakeholders in times of change. You have proven to be an excellent natural leader applying the Vattenfall leadership criteria; active, open, positive and safe.
Additionally
• Deep knowledge & proven experience in existing ITSM frameworks and related processes (e.g. ITIL, ISO 20000)
• Experience of the full technology service lifecycle along with strong financial management knowledge to monitor and manage technology services expenditure
• Experience of shaping, delivering and improving service design, transition and delivery
• Ability to bridge communications between the IT organization and its business customers
• Ability to produce information and share knowledge on various topics in a situation-based manner
• Ability to build and maintain trustful working relationships to stakeholders, peers, external partners, Vattenfall colleagues and own staff
• Interpersonal relationship strengths and problem solving skills for managing disputes
• Passion to motivate, energize and drive performance, new ideas and a learning culture within your team
• Relevant university degree and managerial experience in a similar role or other relevant experience
