As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the performance of Tetra Pak systems at our customers' plants. You will act as ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company's reputation for commitment and service world wide.
We will provide you with a solid training on our products both on site as well as on the home base, in combination with the opportunity to travel together with an experienced System Specialist. You will work in the Technical Service-Team within Tetra Recart.
This role is based in Lund, Sweden and you will be travelling extensively, depending on load, 100-175 days/year. Therefore it is important that you enjoy contact with different cultures world wide and have a genuine interest of working with people.
Main responsibilities
Our customers are located all over the world and the tasks at customers' premises as well as on your home base will be:
• Installation-, start-up and commissioning of Tetra Recart lines
• Service assignments comprising rebuilding and troubleshooting, including knowledge transfer to local Tetra Pak colleagues and Customer staff
• Technical assistance and commissioning of equipment included in our packaging lines which are under commercial launch
• Take an active role in developing and implementing improvements
• Participating in new development project to gain knowledge in new design and functionality and later take an active role when the equipment is deployed to our final customers.
• Solve issues and make suggestions to improve performance on our packaging lines
Qualifications
You have a minimum of technical high school education or equivalent, covering both the electrical and the mechanical area with good skills in the automation area. Added to this we appreciate if you have a genuine technical interest. We believe that you work within technical service today and that you are used to direct customer contacts. A good command of both written and verbal English is necessary and you will make use of your driver's license. We believe that you are a self-motivated person who has a high degree of initiative. You also have the ability to make your own decisions and to solve problems under time pressure.
