Description
We’re looking for an intuitive, curious and collaborative individual with a background in service design to join our Veryday Stockholm team.
In this job you’ll participate in ever-changing projects for our clients worldwide – in industries that range from healthcare and education to finance and consumer electronics. The healthcare sector is one of our focus areas, so experience or an interest in healthcare design is a plus. This is a full-time position.

Our interdisciplinary teams work across product design, interaction and UX design, service design and visual design, and numerous business areas. What you’ll do as Service Designer at Veryday
As Service Designer at Veryday, you’ll translate consumer and business insights into service propositions that build strong differentiation and design equity. You’ll create new service ideas and concepts, and guide the development of service processes and multi-sensory service environments. Your areas of contribution will include conducting analysis and cross-disciplinary research and performing foresight and strategy work. You’ll also plan and design marketing and communication services. Within the very fluid environment that is Veryday, your key areas of responsibility will be to:
• Conduct generative and evaluative research
• Analyze, map and frame opportunities, and translate research findings into meaningful concepts and innovative service and user experience solutions
• Visualize, communicate and present findings in a compelling, clear way, often using storytelling techniques
• Partake in and work well across multidisciplinary teams within Veryday as well as within client and partner companies
• Develop service design solutions in both the digital and physical space
• Conduct service visualization and prototyping
Qualifications
Skills, competencies and characteristics you’ll bring to your role as Service Designer
• 0-3 years of professional experience in an innovative development environment / design or strategy consultancy
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, service design, graphic design or the equivalent. Preferably studies in Design for Social Innovation
• Experience of-, or interest in healthcare is a plus
• Strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction
• Thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies
• UX design experience for applications that leverage emergent technologies, and healthcare and social innovation space.
• Excel at bringing highly analytical and creative ideas to a design engagement.
• You must be fluent in written and spoken English, and a second language is considered a plus.
• Experience of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
