We are now looking for a Service Designers. This position is located in Bromma, Stockholm.
What you will do
With your genuine curiosity for people and their daily lives, and a strong motivation to improve the world around us - you will create exciting user experiences and push the boundaries.
As Service Designer, you will work within a broad service context, developing service design solutions in both the digital and physical space. You have a collaborative approach and work in multidisciplinary teams together with Researchers, Design Strategists, Visual Designers, Digital Designers and Developers, and do design research, analysis, creative ideation and service concept development.
In your toolkit, you use key service design methodologies including ethnographic research, co-creation, journey mapping, blueprinting, experience prototyping and user testing of service solutions in both early and late stages of development.
You will as part of your work conduct generative and evaluative research; analyze, map and frame opportunities, and translate research findings into meaningful concepts and innovative service and user experience solutions. You will work with concept development, experience prototyping and user testing.
You visualize, communicate and present findings in a compelling, clear way, often using storytelling techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in service design (preferably), interaction design or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in design consultancy or in-house designer role. You have experience of service design projects, and international experience is a merit.
- At least 3 years' experience of service design projects.
- A natural self-starter that keeps project momentum going and contributes to a creative and collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and high analytical and creative capability
- Thorough understanding of people driven design processes and principles, qualitative/quantitative research and contemporary design methodologies
- Ability to clearly and confidently present a story and explain design decisions
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication, presentation and storytelling skills; additional languages spoken considered a plus. Good skills in Swedish will be considered a merit but is not a requirement.
- Strong visual communication skills
- Thrive with new challenges and like to explore new topics and ways of working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team setting and a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with ability and curiosity to travel
