Energy Economics IT department within the Business IT Group function is responsible for planning, building and running a greenfield application landscape setup and supporting continuous business change to further develop the Energy Economics businesses across regions and for ensuring dynamic response to continuous market and regulatory changes.
The Business and Service Analyst is responsible for ensuring that IT Applications and services meet the requirements of the Business users and stakeholders in Sweden. This role manages the integration of multiple Services and/or (internal and external) Service providers and/or Service towers/ delivery units, working closely with Project teams, ITIL Process Managers, Business stakeholders and other key delivery roles and functions. Close coordination with central operations and Project teams located in Germany is required to deliver the Business requirements successfully.
As Business and Service Analyst you will functionally report to the Head of Energy Economics IT Service Management within the Energy Economics IT department. You will be located in Malmö, Sweden.
As a Business and Service Analyst with us you will:
Regularly make decisions and take independent actions to achieve strategic objectives. Interface daily with business users, cross functions teams, vendors etc.
Own the regional incidents, prioritization, required improvements and contract responsible teams for required changes.
Support solutions team in implementation of enhancements, upgrades, new functionalities etc.
Manage local vendors and external resources in the team - steering and assigning of activities, monitoring progresses, provide guidance
Supports customer escalations and be accountable for customer satisfaction with a high level of impact.
The position will most likely require:
University degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or comparable education.
Multiple years of experience working in IT projects or service management organization.
Experience of working in an Energy Trading/Dispatch environment with knowledge of trade life cycle process, functionalities like Deal Capture, Portfolio- and Risk Management, Settlements, Confirmations, Nominations, Dispatch would be a plus too.
Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity
Excellent English language skills, spoken and written, basic Swedish language skills preferred
