Volvo Trucks Europe North & Central consists of 9 markets including 11 countries, 460 workshops whereof 97 owned. We are 3000 employees including 1 400 technicians. The Sales Area is a main player for the transformation to electric vehicles.

As the SVP for Volvo Trucks Europe North & Central you will contribute to realizing Volvo Trucks' strategy and become a true business partner to drive the work with positioning todays and future products for Volvo Trucks within your area of responsibility. You will be instrumental in developing the business in close cooperation with joint functions within Volvo Trucks as well as Group Trucks functions including other stakeholders in the Volvo Group. You will lead a team of professional business minded colleagues.
You will report to the President of Volvo Trucks, Roger Alm, and be a member of Volvo Trucks' executive management team.
Profile
The role requires a highly professional and inspiring senior leader with a global mind-set and the ability to demonstrate clear strategic directions and execute successfully upon it.
The role also requires you to inspire, support and challenge your direct reports and develop motivation, knowledge, and teamwork in the entire organization. Specific emphasis should be put on talent development and mobility across Volvo Trucks and Volvo Group.
Key requirements
To be successful in this position we believe you have the following competencies and experiences:
Significant Senior Management experience from successfully leading global organizations offering complex technical products combined with service offerings.
Demonstrated commitment to and experience of customer focused, and business driven organizations.
Experience of leading, mentoring and coaching senior business leaders to perform and deliver top quality and business results. A minimum of ten years of senior line management experience, preferably in auto industry with solid understanding of the commercial vehicle industry.
Ability to demonstrate successful international business experience within a global network.
Ability to demonstrate a clear vision, global and broad mind-set, and successful people & culture leadership.
Ability to work collaboratively within own organization as well as within other organizations supporting the business.
Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of leadership teams cross functionally
Broad generalist profile with cross-functional background is valuable.
Good business analytical capability
Master 's Degree in relevant field
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
