The Operational intelligence team is currently recruiting a Senior Software engineer to work on our AI Ops service. AI Ops is an area within operational intelligence which provide technology services related to Monitoring and Observability capabilities. You will get the opportunity to be part a world class Operations Intelligence capability that will be used by Product and Platform teams across IKEA. AI Ops service provides custom AI and automation capabilities based on our monitoring and observability tools.
REQUIREMENTS
We believe that you have an immense passion to code and are familiar with the below
Over 7 years of experience in Python scripting, Powershell or Shell scripting or Javascript
Knowledge about public cloud solution GCP & Azure (GCP Preferred)
Working with APIs (Rest & SOAP)
Microservices development & deployment
Working together with Data Scientists, Data Engineers & Automation Engineers to created AI based automation products
Have performed analysis across various domains to identify new scope for AI based automation, process automation, RPA, Cloud based automation
Automation frameworks and tooling's (Terraform, Azure Hybrid Worker, Ansible etc.)
Delivered high level design (HLD) & low-level design (LLD) for concepts, pilots and full-scale implementations
WHO YOU ARE
As a person you are an engineer at heart and love to code
You have over 7 years of experience of which the last 4 years are documented towards working with cloud, automation, microservices & AI technologies
Experience of working with monitoring technologies and open standards such as Splunk, SignalFx, AppDynamics, CatchPoint, Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
Deep understanding and working with Application Performance Management, Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators and Error budgeting
Deep understanding how Machine Learning and AI Ops can contribute, optimize, and make operations more efficient
Experience in setting up Machine learning flows through a combination of varied data sets
Good understanding of networking architectures and infrastructure tools for a Data Centre setup to enable automation
Experience of supporting teams regarding monitoring and observability (logs/events, metrics, and traces)
Experience in creating self service capabilities and functions through AI based chat integrations or otherwise
Experience working with public (Azure, GCP, AWS etc.) and private cloud (VRA, VRO etc.) and multi-cloud environments
Experience and understanding of end user compute to provide automation solutions and optimization
Experience in agile/DevOps ways of working
Good understanding of software development practices, how to utilize monitoring/observability capabilities in a CI/CD context and execution within a retail & e-commerce environment
You have an energising attitude and are a complete team player
You see your career path as an architect or a principal engineer
Your educational background is with computer sciences preferably a master's degree
You are positive and believe in making things happen irrespective of obstacles or blockers
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working physically and/or virtually in fully empowered and agile teams. Together with other software/automation engineers, data scientists, data engineers and Engineering Manager
You will continuously build code sets that ensure optimized service offering based on the latest technologies and drive a competitive advantage for our consumers.
You will work across a range of different systems with the purpose of providing custom AI and AI based automation for different teams with different needs.

We're a small team consisting of around 9 people. We are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together. We are based in Helsingborg.
