We are now looking for a Senior Developer to join our team. As a developer at Monocl, you will be faced with complex problems and rapid technology developments. What You'll Do
You will join our stellar Engineering team where you will spend your days working towards a common goal of building a world-class product using high-end technologies. We work in small, highly cooperative and cross-functional agile teams where everyone helps each other out. You will be a part of a high performing engineering team with end-to-end ownership of the product development. We aim to be an inclusive and helpful team that executes together with a sense of ownership for the product.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Work together with our Engineering and Product teams to create a world-class product
Code primarily using Java
Developing and executing with high quality towards the backlog
Other Key parts of our tech stack that we use:
ElasticSearch
PostgreSQL
Docker
Unix
Who you are
Your position would be Senior Developer. We believe developers learn new things all the time, so we don't have any firm requirements. But to give you a better idea, other developers in this position typically have several years of prior experience working with Java, C# or similar programming languages, as well as experience in SQL. As we work with agile processes, experience working in agile teams might also be beneficial, but we're sure this would be something you can pick up quickly, either way.
