Take lead in the execution of our high voltage cables delivery projects
Do you want to work directly in our core business being accountable and responsible for our delivery projects? If you have solid experience from independently driving large projects and are keen on an opportunity to utilize this competence, we have the right job for you. As part of the department Project Execution, you will be working in a global and dynamic environment leading large customer projects with a financial value up to 500 MEUR.
Drive and execute NKT's global customer projects
In this role you will lead the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. You are responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned projects on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement with high focus on our quality and safety framework.
Moreover the Project Manager ensures that the project follows given processes, best practices and NKT policies. You will monitor and control the project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. In this role you will also act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
Your primary tasks will be:
Independently lead large delivery projects, be accountable for all defined parts of the project until formally closed out as contractually agreed
Identify, qualify, quantify and managing project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued
Define, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans
Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and NKT policies
Captures, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project
Contracts, claims, procurement management
Stakeholder relations
Ensure that the project follows and complies with company health, safety and environmental policies
Communicative, experienced project manager with a solution oriented mindset and high sense of responsibility
To be successful in this role you have strong ability to handle projects of different size, complexity and contractual types as well as assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery in case troubled or challenging topics appearing.
Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders as well as building and maintaining strong relationships.
As a project manager you motivate, inspire and lead project members to accomplish tasks and milestones, by providing support through both practical advice as well as action. You see the value of strong team development and your tools and goals in the process are often the same; honesty, integrity and tolerance. You manage your time effectively to complete projects; adheres to a structured and clear plan and delivers according to agreed plan. You view problems as challenges and take your experiences with you whenever you face a new one.
You thrive in a role where you need to take high responsibility and effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to achieve the project goals.
Additionally, your CV includes:
BSc degree or other relevant education
Minimum 6 years of experience managing projects - ideally complex projects - of different size and contractual types
PMP® certification from Project Management Institute or a known PM certification as Senior Project Manager such as IPMA Level B certification is meritorious
Fluency in spoken and written English
