To be successful we believe you have a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development with proven track record of delivering products that provide substantial value. Experience in working in agile environments in complex global organisations. As a person you have an obsession about customer problems and needs and naturally curious in how to solve them and get motivated by the success and achievements of the teams.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• Extensive knowledge of product discovery techniques, like customer development programs, persona development and qualitative/quantitative research methodology.
• Good understanding of the product management role in relation to other functions in business, knowing best practices in building agile and outcome-oriented ways of working.
• Thorough knowledge in how to create a successful product strategy from scratch and how to storytell to gain buy in with a variety of key stakeholders across domains.
• Strong knowledge of data and analytics key concepts, for example qualitative versus quantitative data, statistical analysis and basics of data modelling.
• Good knowledge in how to define and measure success, for example how to create OKR framework or KPI's.
• Thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative research studies
• Good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
The digital checkout area is part of the customer domain in group digital where you will be tasked to lead the creation of a world class seamless checkout experience across our global digital touch points. You will define the vision, strategy & roadmap for the checkout experience which we provide to our millions of customers. By leading the core experience team your main focus will be driving product discovery and coordinating several individual product teams which spans from planning to payment. By driving a high rate of experiments and discovery work, you will constantly identify opportunities to improve. Through your work you will surprise and delight our customers with a highly convenient experience that is valuable and usable for our many customers.
Job-specific capabilities:
• Be responsible for the product discovery work and have a strong ability to identify with the customer and being able to inspire a deep customer empathy within the team.
• Strong ability to influence, listen to and collaborate successfully with a variety of stakeholders across domains in a complex organisation.
• Strong ability to work methodically as well as analyse mutliple data sources and qualitative information to craft a compelling narrative that resonates with target audience
• Ability to demonstrate a data informed and outcome driven mindset
• Ability to lead by example and be a strong role model in leadership
• Humble leader that is comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members with or without formal management authority in a complex environment
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
We in Capability Area Sales & Payment work towards providing the most convenient purchase experience towards our customers, providing delight in every interaction. We have high ambitions where we want to redefine the checkout both online and in our stores. You will join an area which have over 30 digital products across 7 different domains covering everything from purchase planning, checkout, Sales Lead, Co-worker tools, Payment and financing.
In this role you will report to the Product Manager, Digital Sales & Payments. This role is located in Malmö.
