hela Sverige Oriflame is now looking for a Senior Packaging Technologist to further strengthen our team.
YOUR ROLE
In the role of Senior Packaging Technologist, you are part of the Global Packaging team responsible for one of the key functions in Oriflame: Developing packaging aligned to the New Product Development process. In your role you will lead the technical development of our new products, focusing on the manufacturing of components as well as supporting filling activities. Within this process you will be responsible for the technical specification of primary packaging from marketing brief through to finished good productions. This is role where you will be working cross functionally closely with other departments in the organisation, (Marketing, Supply Chain etc.) You will also collaborate externally with component supplier and fillers.
Post launch support of improvements and efficiencies related to existing portfolio packaging is a prerequisite.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong ability to influence and convey information to others in an effective manner; positive, clear and to the point.
Distinguishes relevant from irrelevant information and makes timely and transparent decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgement.
Ability to build and manage relationships with suppliers on various levels.
Capability to independently propose technical "solutions". Knowledge of relevant component materials, production processes and limitations. Proficiency to translate these criteria into advice and support to partners in Component Manufacture, Filling and Marketing.
Able to adapt solutions in a fast moving environment
Able to drive own projects from marketing brief to first production while respecting product development timings
Effective trouble shooting skills and risk assessment competencies. Ability to dynamically access issues and propose solutions independently or as part of a team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
University degree Bachelor or Master in packaging (IOP or equivalent)
8 years of experience in FMCG and/or proven track record of successful developments
