We are now looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Partner Ecosystem Engineering team at our office in Berlin, Germany.
What is Hive Partner Ecosystem?
Hive's work with partners is critical to our success since Hive is not a standalone solution - therefore, the Partner Ecosystem Team is woven into everything we do across our three product pillars of Hive Analytics, Hive Optimization and Hive Video Operations. The Hive Partner Ecosystem product team and the Partner Ecosystem Engineering team works closely together. The team's focus is on developing new products and features, supporting the needs of our Fortune 500 enterprise customers. The team does this by designing and delivering software components that enable our Hive Streaming technology into our video platform partners' applications, and by developing new Hive Streaming applications based on partners' published APIs/SDKs."

You will be the fourth developer within the Partner Ecosystem Engineering team in Berlin, Germany. You will be working closely with your team members: two senior developers, one mid-level developer and your Team Lead, Claudio Di Cosmo.

Working as a Senior Mobile Engineer
As senior mobile engineer at Hive you will bring us into an entirely new realm, enabling Hives Video Streaming services on the mobile applications of our partners. Here you will work closely with the team and our partners to design SDKs for the new solution and spread your knowledge to the rest of the team.
You will
• Design and develop SDKs for our solution
• Take lead on security review
• Participate in technical decision making
• Share your knowledge of mobile development to the team
Previous Experience
• BSc/MSc/Ph.D. Engineering degree in a relevant field, Distributed Systems or another relevant field
• Strong experience in iOS platform
• Experience in Android platform
• A strong interest in Distributed Systems, Networking and Video Streaming
• Experience in Objective C, Swift and Java
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
