The Mechanical Plant Solutions team in Svedala manages all global customer projects - designing and building crushing and screening plants at global customer sites. Our scope ranges from complete plants and part of plants, to delivering engineering services of steel category parts across the globe. We are now looking for a driven Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Leader to join us in a great opportunity to develop in a customer-oriented and international project environment. Domestic and international travel is a natural part of this job.
Your mission - leading your skilled team in delivering high quality project activities across the globe
Using your project management skills, you lead an engineering team and are responsible for the mechanical engineering in our global customer plant projects. You develop and supervise the work and take responsibility for project charters, as well as for standards and compliance with laws in accordance with customer contracts and regional requirements. Your daily tasks include risk assessment activities for entire plants and individual machine stations and you follow up on EHS-questions. You also provide support on technical issues, in terms of engineering costs, for both the Application and the Sales Support department, and you analyze the outcome of design budgets and materials used.
Working closely with our stakeholders, you actively participate in customer kick-off meetings and internal start up procedures, and you support our Project Sourcing Manager in purchasing structural designs and steel structure supplies. Additionally, you follow up on resources within mechanical design, report status of technical and economic progress to the Plant Project Manager and Plant Business Controller and you identify and communicate lessons learned to enable successful deliveries.
Your character - an ambitious engineer with a knack for driving progress and networking
With a Master 's in Mechanical Engineering in your back pocket and at least ten years' of working in near related businesses, you have experience from engineering of steel structures for machines that are integrated into plants, as well as with static and dynamic loads. Experience from global processing or industrial plants, supplier and customer management and managerial experience is all necessary to succeed. You are also a skilled user of 3D CAD, AutoCAD and MS Project and have knowledge of risk assessments for complete plants. Software knowledge in SolidWorks and Tekla is also a plus. You are fluent in English in speech and writing.

We also value your great planning skills, as well as your strategic and tactical mindset. Your good coaching and leadership skills allows you to drive progress together with colleagues, customers and suppliers, and with a commercial mindset and great communication skills, you easily create new contacts and build sustainable internal and external networks.
