Your future challenge
The Communication Development department is located in Järfälla and Linköping. With Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Networking technologies as a base we do product development and research. We are involved in several exciting projects with international stakeholders, and we now need to strengthen our MS Windows expertise in Järfälla.
Your will bear the main responsibility for maintenance and development of MS Windows applications in the department. Examples include Network Controller software for radio communication network and advanced test tools for radio networks.
Todays demands
You have
• A deep knowledge of MS Windows, with emphasis on multi-threading and real time performance.
• Long experience of developing unmanaged C++ applications and managed .NET-based applications.
The development environment used is Visual Studio 2010 and the main languages are C++ and C#. Emphasis is today at unmanaged C++ but depending on application future development may be done in .NET as well.
You feel comfortable expressing yourself in English, written as well as orally, and preferrably also in Swedish.
You presumably hold a BSc, MSc or equivalent, and have several years of work experience. You like working in a team, but can also work independently.
Place of action
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
At the division for Communication Systems, we develop software based products and solutions for land-, naval- and airbased military communication systems.
