Job Purpose:
Autonomously contributes to analysis that solves specific client concerns; serves as a liaison between the commercial team, quality assurance, operations, engineering, and Data Science teams with regards to internal and external client projects. Works cross team to provide a professional, clear response on all client queries.

Job Responsibilities
Collaboratively creates and manages projects, from timeline creation to project completion, managing expectations with manager and customer
Works with cross-functional teams to provide a professional, clear response on all client queries
Plays a key role in analytical projects from beginning to end; including developing an analytical plan, running analyses, and summarizing results
Compiling and delivering documentation material such as powerpoint slides for methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions; supporting basic client service duties as needed; and participating in team projects and staff meetings
Uses advanced statistical methodologies to analyze the data
Learns and becomes an expert in Local Italian Audience measurement Nielsen knowledge, with a focus on methodologies and challenges related to digital measurement
Proactively gathers information, as needed, to work independently and with a team
Supports in addressing major quality escapes
Automate and renew procedures, propose new solutions, optimize processes

Scope
The role is: International with special focus on the Italian market

Role Requirements (list the critical experience, knowledge, qualifications, skills, and competencies needed to perform this role - over and above standard Nielsen leadership and personal effectiveness competencies). Mark each with E=essential, P=preferred.
E- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Social Science, Operation Research, or other hard sciences (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
P- Masters or Doctorate degree in an above-mentioned field
E- 3-4 years experience
P- Broad industry knowledge
E- Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving attitude
E- Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment
E- Outstanding analytical expertise
E- Exceptional aptitude for data analysis
E- Strong statistical and logic skills
E- Accuracy and attention to detail
E- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
E- Eager to continuously learn and adopt changing technologies and tools
E- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, R, Spark)
P- Experience with Data visualization tools (Spotfire, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
E- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
P- Excellent knowledge of Italian (written and spoken)
