hela Sverige Key Responsibilities of Role
The Senior accountant will have overall responsibility for ensuring timely internal management and project reporting in addition to statutory reporting duties and treasury and cash flow management.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts in the group reporting system (currently HFM) including supporting paper file with cross referenced schedules and reconciliations.
• Coordination and preparation of the annual budget for Sweden
• Main liaison between Distribution and Sales for matters concerning inventory, sales and cost of goods and providing financial insight over the two departments.
• Reconciliations and follow-up of stocks defined in the financial calendar. In collaboration with the head of Distribution ensure that the warehouse is optimized in terms of level and obsolescence.
• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivables including all purchase and sales cycle to include the purchase ordering process.
Specific / Other responsibilities will include:
Be part of and support the financial closing and financial processes associated with monthly and quarterly financial statements, expense reporting, etc. This involves various tasks from time to time defined by Financial calendar where the role works closely with the group financial controller to ensure that all operations are carried out.
• Financial reconciliations in conjunction with monthly quarterly and annual accounts.
• Daily bank reconciliations including timely investigation and monitoring of any outstanding payments/receipts.
• Accounts Receivable (including active credit control measures to avoid overdue receivables).
• Accounts Payable including purchase order review and follow up, processing of invoices and bank payments ensuring authorization procedures are always adhered to.
• Fixed assets register maintenance and periodic review for completeness and accuracy.
• Monthly reconciliations for all assets, liabilities and equity accounts.
• Sales, COGs and expenditure analysis reports.
• Support Circassia operations in China rep. office.
• Coordination, liaison and preparation of materials to company auditors
• Reporting of all statutory taxes and fees.
• Other tasks necessary within finance.
Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role
• Accountancy qualification eg ACCA or University degree in accountancy
• Post-secondary education in economics.
• Good and proven experience in accounts of receivables and payables.
• Experience of managing month end including performing all necessary reconciliations
• Experience in ERP system, Navision and HFM preferably.
• High energy and level of responsibility with initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively and accomplish project goals.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• The flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage activities to meet the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on quality.
Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role
