We are now looking for a Product Development Leader to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development. As a Product Development Leader you will teach, mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture. You will work as section manager in the Baseband Software Lower department which is responsible for the Physical Layer baseband SW within the gNodeB. This includes
Ensuring a capable long-term architecture and quality assurance for the Physical Layer.
Enable XFTs to implement new features with speed and quality by offering them efficient and understandable, product architecture, test frame works, documentation and education.
Developing features and functionality in the areas MBB (Mobile Broad Band) for 4G and 5G, such as massive MIMO, IOT, AI and millimeter wavelength technologies.

Your main task will be to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development. You will mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and the organization. We want you to continue to build and foster a creative and learning culture. As a manager, a large part of your work will be spent in tight co-operation with colleagues in your team, but also with other units, located in Kista, Ottawa and Beijing. This requires a keen interest in people and an ability to empower teams. We also expect you to have the gift and courage of simplifying complex structures, to develop competence and innovation. You must have good understanding of agile and lean R&D development.
You will report to the department head of Baseband Lower that is based in Lund and be a member of that global leadership team.
Your team will consist of two domain teams, Product Guardians and a Sr Specialst focusing on L1 - Beam Forming Control. This position also includes the NR Beam Forming Control domain ownership responsibility ie securing that the product fulfils current and future functional and quality requirements. The unit is based in Lund.

Key Qualifications:
You are a strong leader with focus on finding effective and sustainable solutions while being pro-active, empowering, pragmatic and able to make things happen.
Technical education on university level required.
Experience in working with Physical layer, radio baseband or radio protocols is an advantage.
Experience with real-time embedded/DSP software development is required.
Experience in being a team leader or manager in software development is required.
Experience in working with feature verification of NR or LTE and/or WCDMA radio network verification is an advantage.
Respect for dead-lines and ability to motivate people under high workload is needed
Find it stimulating to work with change management and teamwork/cooperation across organizational boundaries. Formulating strategies and concepts.
Business and customer focus with a high accountability to deliver results.
Good English language skills in both writing and conversation is a must.
